Books All Around is currently seeking to recruit one director for each interested campus. The role of universities and student groups is integral to the fulfillment of our goals. By mobilizing student groups on campuses to implement literacy projects in their communities, the campus directors will be advocates for the work we do.
These positions are on a volunteer basis and will require a commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Recruit student organizations on your campus to implement literacy service projects
• Inform students on you campus about the literacy crisis
• Contact and build relationships with local literacy organizations
Desired Qualifications
• Familiarity with campus student groups
• Energy and creativity
• Interest in community service
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
